Presumably one of the perks of being on network television every night is the chance to gain exposure with a larger audience. And so the Roots, who've been serving as house band on the (improving) Late Night with Jimmy Fallon since its inception, used last night's show as an opportunity to premiere the title cut from their forthcoming album How I Got Over (as promised). And it's pretty good! Not that the Roots have ever had trouble translating live
